COVERS AND FRAMES

To compliment the RapidSTACK and ductBOX access chambers, RDT offer a range of access covers and frames that are available to suit each individual project requirement.

Ductile/Cast Iron

A vast range of iron manhole covers, gully gratings & surface boxes. The majority hold BSI Kitemark certification and where applicable meet Highway Agency specification HA104/02 and BS7903:1997.

Fabricated Steel

A full range of fabricated steel covers & frames including Solid Tops, Recessed Trays, Recessed Block Paviors and Hinged. A bespoke design service is available to meet your exact site design requirement. All covers & frames are available in Galvanised Steel, Stainless Steel or Aluminium options and are manufactured to meet FACTA class loadings.

Concrete Filled

A full range of concrete filled fabricated mild steel manhole covers and frames manufactured to BS EN124: 1994 B125 loadings. These covers are suitable for use in Telecommunication Networks, Road and Footway construction and all other Utility applications.

Composite

A range of composite access covers and galvanised steel rising frames typically used on Street Lighting, Traffic Signalling and other engineering installations. The anti-slip design and composite construction of these covers offer significant advantages over traditional materials such as durability and slip resistance. The covers can also be badged with customer specific details or logos on request, subject to minimum order quantities.
